For those of you that haven't heard, AVID Group^® is building a new corporate office on Race Track Road in Oldsmar, Florida. The building will be single story, approximately 30,000 SF in size and will be a “Green” building. That is the term applied to environmentally friendly building design. We are working with a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) consultant to help us get our building certified-green. This is very cutting edge and will ultimately lead to a new market for AVID Group^® as a “green" engineering group. The Class 'A' office space will also have state-of-the-art IT infrastructure. Our goal is to have permits and start construction by mid-June, and move in the first quarter of 2008. Bob Pierro is our Project Manager for the project.
